Hello, thanks for visiting my portfolio!
I am a programmer, primarily specializing in engine level programming in UE4, I have just completed my degree in Computer Games Technology at the University of Portsmouth. Currently, my main experience comes from my year-long games tech software engineering internship at Microsoft Rare. Whilst at Rare, I mostly worked on their engine team, carrying out work for Sea of Thieves, however, I did work on one of the gameplay teams to implement a feature for the Anniversary update.
Programming constantly provides challenges that require me to expand my knowledge through research and think logically in order to solve them. It is never boring, always changing and the sense of achievement after solving a particularly tricky problem is why it is highly enjoyable for me.
In my spare time, I have a variety of hobbies from tabletop roleplaying games such as Dungeons and Dragons, to pole dancing, horse riding, painting Warhammer 40k miniatures and Live Action Role-Playing (LARP).
